Fire Watch Officer
$16–$21/hour
Tiburo Security is building a roster of on-call fire watch officers to cover time-sensitive assignments when a client's fire suppression or alarm system is out of service. This is fast-paced, short-notice work — ideal for officers who want flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled patrols of the affected area (typically every 30 minutes) per local fire code
- Maintain a written, timestamped patrol log
- Know evacuation procedures and manual alarm locations for the site
- Notify emergency contacts immediately if a hazard is identified
- Remain on post for the full duration of the assignment, which may extend on short notice
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid unarmed security registration in NC (or willingness to obtain one)
- Available for short-notice, variable-length assignments
- Comfortable working independently

Unarmed Security Officer
$15–$19/hour
Tiburo Security is hiring unarmed security officers across North Carolina, with posts available in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. New to the industry? Bluewater Security Academy's PPSB-registered training gets you certified and placed.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned property per post orders and site-specific procedures
- Control access at gates, lobbies, or entry points
- Write clear, accurate incident and activity reports
- De-escalate conflicts and respond to emergencies appropriately
- Communicate professionally with tenants, employees, and visitors
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid NC PPSB unarmed security registration, or willingness to complete training through Bluewater Security Academy
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods

Unarmed Security Officer
$16–$20/hour
Tiburo Security is hiring unarmed security officers for commercial and industrial posts across Florida. No prior security experience required — qualified candidates can complete state-registered training through Bluewater Security Academy as part of onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned property on foot or by vehicle per post orders
- Monitor access points and verify visitor/vendor credentials
- Document incidents accurately and promptly
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations per protocol
- Maintain a visible, professional presence on site
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid Florida security officer license, or willingness to obtain one through Bluewater Security Academy
- Reliable transportation to assigned post
- Strong communication skills
